Galliana

Born April 27,2011 KWPN Reg A
Sire: Blue Hors Soprano/Sandro Hit
Dam: Sioux/Zeoliet

A stunning filly with look at me presence, this filly is athletic and has the power to do just about anything.
She is a full sibling to last year's filly Finola who was purchased in utero. Although this filly is bred for dressage we can't wait until she is older to put her thru the jump chute as we have a feeling she will be able to jump the moon.

Her sire, Soprano, formerly Blue Hors Soprano ridden by Andreas Helgstrand, is a striking, modern, 17.1 h, homozygous black stallion with proven world class performance bloodlines inherent in his pedigree. Possessing correct conformation and three excellent basic gaits that exhibit energy, activity, suspension, and elasticity, his ground covering, movement is effortless and impressive.

Soprano's pedigree demonstrates great depth and versatility. His sire, the legendary 1999 World Young Horse Champion and Bundeschampianate Sandro Hit, passes on to his progeny the genes of numerous influential stallions. Sandro Hit’s sire, Sandro Song a double graded champion in Oldenburg, is by Sandro, an international show jumper who won the Danish Derby ridden by Franke Sloothaak. Welt As, in Sandro Hit’s third generation, is famous for siring Anke Van Grunsven’s Olympic Dressage Champion Bonfire and many other top horses.

Soprano's Damsire, the legendary Contender, who won his 100 day test, is one of the most significant sires in Germany. Contendor’s progeny are characterized by outstanding jumping ability, very good movement, and excellent rideability. Soprano's mare line (The Flattopia) produced many international stars such as dressage horse Rubioso ridden by Ellen Bontje; Lord Kem (Champion Stallion in 1989); Continue; Maffay; Calmiro; and Farmer.

Also found in Soprano's Damsire is Tin Rocco , who won ten conformation tests as a three year old and competed in Grand Prix jumping winning the Preis Von Blankenesse in Hamburg/Klein Flottbek (Derby Show). Of Tin Rocco’s approved sons, Traumtänzer won the stallion performance test in the USA and Torero was his best winning dressage horse in 1990. His highly awarded St. Pr. daughter Gutena represented him successfully at the German show in Verden in 1990. His son Tie Break was in the finals of the 1988 German Show Jumping Championships and in 1990, he won a test at the German event horse championships. In the 1990 FN breeding statistics Tin Rocco leads as the most successful sire of event horses of his age group.

Her Dam, Sioux is a Dutch Ster mare with a Provisional Keur and her Dam Sire, Zeoliet is by the very modern breeding stallion Ramiro, who has earned the tag Euro-stallion. Ramiro is the sire of several approved stallions in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands as well as the sire of internationally known horses such as: Donau, Ramzes, Almox Rosella, Rinnetou Z, Rolex, Zamira and Ratina Z.

Zoeliet's dam, Sargab, has been declared "prestatie" at the age of 10, which made her the youngest "prestatie" mare in the Netherlands. Sargab has also produced the Z-level dressage horses Wirbeleau and Bauxiet. The dam's sire is the thoroughbred Abgar, one of the most influential Dutch sporthorse producers.

We have to give mention to Goodtimes who produces good movers and power behind for both dressage and jumping. As a 3 year old stallion Good Times was champion of the stallion test and already has several approved sons and is the sire of various Champion foals and Champion mares. In the pedigree of Good Times we find Nimmerdor and Caletto I, stallions who both have jumped at the highest international level and are first class breeding stallions.

Although bred for dressage but with so many international jumpers in her pedigree, now you see why we are excited to see how this young filly will jump.
