Its long over due but we wanted to share the news of a valuable addition to our team. Cara Klothe is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and has been with us for a little over a year. As well as training and competing Trevelyan Farm’s horses, she is successfully competing her own horse, Ockie thru to I-1. To learn more about Cara, click here for her Bio.

Virginia Tech ISR/Oldenburg Inspections

Congratulations to Amanda Raphaelson and Trappe Spring Farm! Wolf Trappe, a colt sired by Wicked Courtjester and out of Wieglerma’s Maude scored, 8.4, 8.3, 8.3 and was given Premium Award. A full sibling to Wolf Trappe is expected in the spring of 2011.

News from Polly Hixson …

On September 10th, the Central Carolina Welsh Club added several Mountain and Moorland classes to their fall show, held in Raleigh NC and supported in part by NPS America. I took both babies by Wicked Courtjester out of my mare Manoravon Master Charm. This was their first show and first time off the farm except for short trips to the vet. Neytiri PDF, this year's baby, delighted me not just by behaving wonderfully, but by winning her class! She then came back and placed Reserve Champion of the M&M division. (She was beaten only by a Forest Flame mare...) Cobalt PDF, 2008 gelding of the same breeding, placed third in his class. ISR/Oldenburg Inspections

Forrest Gund by Forrest Flame was presented and was beautifully ridden by Cara Klothe in her Mare Performance Test. Forrest Gund easily passed with a score of 70.3% and was a superstar the whole day. What a delight!

Regalia (Royal Prince/Cor Nior) was accepted into the Main Mare Book. Regalia is in foal to Sir Gregory (Sir Donnerhall) due early spring of 2011. This foal is listed on our En Utero Sales for 2011.

Freida sired by Forrest Flame out of Wieglerma’s Maud also easily made it into the Main Mare Book. Freida is in foal to Wicked Courtjester for 2011. This should be an outstanding sport pony foal. Congratulations, Amanda Raphaelson.

Wrefleksion, a filly, sired by Wicked Courtjester out of Hoppenhof’s Silvia scored all 7.9’s and narrowly missed premium foal status. Congratulations to Christina Warfel on this special filly.

Sierra our Sagnol/Sandro Hit filly out of Giselle/Giotto showed beautifully and scored all 8.0 which gave her a Premium Award. This beautiful filly is listed for sale.

Dressage at Blue Goose III

Forrest Gund makes her debut at First Level and scores 76.3%

After accumulating scores to qualify for Training Level at Regional Championships Forrest Gund and Cara Klothe entered their first ever First Level Test and won the class with the score of 76.3% and also First Level High Score Champion. These are a pair to watch out for next spring.

Giselle by Giotto is up graded to Premium Mare Book with the ISR/Oldenburg Registry.

Giselle is the Dam of 2008 colt, Fargo by Frestrausch and 2010 filly Sierra by Sagnol and has proved her value as a broodmare. Giselle was on lease and now goes back to her owner Brandon Aukamp and to her under saddle career in dressage. Thank you, Brandon for entrusting your beautiful mare to us.

Fairhill Breed Show

Congratulations to Phyllis Hamilton and Firebird! Firebird, sire by Forrest Flame and out of Watermark/Wicked Courtjester placed first in the Three-Year-Old Fillies class with a score of 72.4 with many positive comments given by the Judges. Since she placed first in her 3 y/o class, she went on to the filly championship, where she placed third. Next was her ISR/Old NA IBC. Her score was a 72.3% for fifth place out of all full-sized warmbloods. 2010 and its another filly year for us!

Well done to Forrest Gund and Cara Klothe on the great scores at Training Level 3 and 4 and for placing 2nd in each class. These were large classes and they received a 69% and 72% respectively.
Following closely behind these two were another Forrest Flame offspring named, Figment with owner/rider Suzy Stafford, also with great scores.

New England Dressage Association Spring Show 4/15



We are pleased to report Armani (Rousseau x Venenzia) attended his first rated show. Ridden by Jane Hannigan, Armani won both his Training Level 1 and 2 tests with a 73% and 73.5%.
Reports from his owner, Tracie Richardson, was that he was a PERFECT gentleman.

New England Dressage Association Spring Show 4/16


Congratulations to Fonteyn in attending her first rated show. Ridden by Jane Hannigan, Fonteyn scored 65% and won her Training Level 2 class. Received a 64% and placed 2nd in Training Level 1. Fonteyn is a Forrest Flame daughter, out of a Wicked Courtjester mare named Wicked Elegance. Fonteyn is owned by Suzy Reardon.

2010 April 11th, - Practical Dressage & Eventing, PA

The nice spring weather we are having has enabled us to get Forrest Gund out and gaining show experience. This pony is eventually going to be an awesome show pony, already loves show food... french fries in particular! Figi put in two wonderful performances in Training Level Test 3 and 4 with rider/trainer Cara Klothe. Scoring 67 and 69%, winning both her classes and having the second highest score of the day. We have several show dates lined up for Figi for the remainder of this spring and summer. Please check back for updates.

Schooling show - Blue Goose at Yarmouth, PA
January 31st, 2010

This was Forrest Gund's (Figi) first time at a show and we were thrilled with her performance. She is all down to business and scored two scores of 70.4% at Training Level 2 and Training Level 4. Placing her in 1st and 2nd place respectively. Congratulations to both Cara Klothe rider/trainer and Figi.
