Update on Armani – May 2009

Tracie Richardson and Armani recently took part in a two day clinic with Christoph Hess in New England.   You may remember Armani is out of our Dutch Ster mare Venezia and sired by Rousseau.   Hess commented on Armani’s wonderful mind and trainability as well as the use of his hindquarters and his trot.

What a wonderful team they make together.  Check back for more updates on Armani and Tracie throughout the show season.Photo credit Carole MacDonald

Success with Embryo Transfers – May 2009

In 2008 Cindy Gura from Dale Creek Equestrian Village, AZ bred her lovely imported German Riding Pony mare, Brillante by Top King to Forrest Flame with the goal to do an embryo Transfer.  Well, as luck would have it, Brillante produced two embryos which were successfully transferred by Dr. Foss into two recipient mares.  Both mares carried their pregnancies well and produced beautiful healthy foals born approximately a week apart.   These foals will be presented for inspection to the ISR/Oldenburg Registry and we hope to give you news of their results when we receive them.

April 2009 Wylie Courtjester – super star!

Love it when something turns out to be a win win situation for everyone involved.Breeder Teresa Schemhl sent young Wylie Courtjester to Elimaka Sport Ponies for training by Cory Gregory recently but what she didn’t expect to happen was that Cory would fall in love with Wylie and want him as her next competition pony. Congratulations to both Teresa and Cory.   Greatly looking forward to following the success of Wylie with Cory as trainer/rider and owner in the dressage arena.

Farabovepar – March 2009

Congratulations to Jennifer Johnson on Farabovepar receiving his provision license for breeding with the New Forest Pony Society of North America.   Farabovepar is a handsome black 3 year old colt sired by Forrest Flame out of her lovely imported New Forest Pony mare, Merel and has been raised in Trevelyan’s young horse/pony raising program since the fall of 2006.
