Kokomo Daydream
1986 - 2007

A final farewell to our foundation broodmare...Koko pictured here with her daughter Charisma. Koko was also dam to Sebastian and Wicked Elegance.

FORREST FLAME a three star stallion!

We are thrilled to announce that in 2007 Forrest Flame was award three stars in the ISR/Oldenburg Star Award Program. The first star was for his scoring at the 100 day Stallion Test held at Paxton Farm, Ohio (he currently holds the highest score for a pony to ever have gone through the testing). The second is for producing 10 or more Premium Foals within that Registry and the third is for his performance in sport (currently competing and winning in dressage at 4th Level Open). This is quite an achievement for any young stallion...not to mention a pony. Well done Forrest!

CONGRATULATIONS ARMANI & TRACIE RICHARDSON...
2007 NEDA YEAR END DRESSAGE SPORT HORSE BREEDING CHAMPION FOR THE 2 YEAR OLD STALLIONS & GELDINGS....WAY TO GO!

RESULTS FROM THE KWPN OF NORTH AMERICA 2007 KEURING - FINAL FIVE

Armani made it in the top five again! This is a very special young horse and we are thrilled to see Judges are consistently placing Armani in the top of the best KWPN horses in the country. Just to remind you, Armani is out of our Ster mare Venezia and sired by Rousseau. Bred by us and purchased by Tracie Richardson at only 3 weeks of age. Congratulations Trace.

Sidenote: Check out our En Utero sales...we have another Rousseau foal arriving April 2008 out of our very special Ster mare named Sioux (Provisional keur).

JEST JOYOUS AND KERRI HEALY
Ocktoberfest Hunter Trials at Olde Hope Farms, MD 10/7/07

This was their first Hunter Trials...Joyous and Kerri put in a fabulous dressage test in the morning, tying them in 1st place. They went clear in the stadium jumping and retained their lead. Cross country was in the afternoon, unfortunately they had one stop out of what was otherwise a terrific ride and were happy to come home with a 6th place ribbon in the Intro Horse Division...especially as this was their first time out at a Hunter Trials. (photos to come)

Results from ISR/Oldenburg Inspections at Silverwood Farm September 14th 2007

Congratulations to breeder, Sheila O'Keefe and Tranquility Farm

Forrest Elf (Big Elf) by Forrest Flame out of Midnight Rose scored for conformation and type: 8.0, movement: 8.3, overall Impression: 8.1 giving him Premium Foal Award. This little guy sadly lost his Dam 3 days before the inspection...stood perfectly for bathing and braiding, loaded on the trailer practically by himself and was a star!

Wicked Elf (Little Elf) by Wicked Court Jester out of Harlequin scored for conformation and type: 7.8, movement: 7.8, Overall Impression: 8.0 giving him an overall score of 7.8. Wicked Elf was in quite a growth stage and was extremely butt high at his inspection.

Both of these outstanding colts are for sale. You can see more of "The Elves" at: www.tranquilityfarm.com

Results from the ISR/Oldenburg Inspection at Pennock Point, FL - Oct. 4th 2007

Hearty Congratulations to Sally Moehring and Waverly!

This result absolutely made my day...Waverly was presented for approval into one of the Mare Books by owner, Sally Moehring. Waverly scored an outstanding 107 points, easily putting her into the Premium Mare Book and in addition, earning Waverly her first Star in the ISR/Oldenburg Award Program.
Waverly was bred by us and is sired by Wicked Courtjester and out of our foundation broodmare, Zauberelle. Waverly follows her full sister, Winslette who remarkably earned the same score of 107 points in June this year when presented and also made Premium Mare.

This is a stunning mare ...congratulations, Sally.

DRESSAGE AT DEVON 2007

Congratulations to Forrest's Wicked CourteZen and new owner Grace Vance from SC. CourteZen came away with 1st place in the ISR Sport Pony Class and in addition was an absolute delight to take and show, staying relaxed through out and appearing to thoroughly enjoy all the excitement that DAD has to offer.

Congratulations goes to 2 yr old Winsome Courtjester and owner Cory Gregory on placing 1st in the ASPR Class against tough competition including 2 older stallions. Winsome Courtjester was bred by Laurie Ryan from MO and is sired by Wicked Courtjester (as if you couldn't guess from the name).

ISR/OLDENBURG INSPECTIONS – HILLTOP FARM – 8/25/08

This inspection had to held on one of the hottest days ever with heat and humidity reaching a index of 105…but our ponies were still able to represent themselves well.   We are extremely proud to announce not only, did we bring home four Premium Awards, Wrocketeer out of Rockette and sired by Wicked Courtjester was announced High Scoring Champion of the day with 8.5  out of a total of 29 foals presented AND it was strongly suggested that we keep him as a stallion prospect and bring him back for the approvals in three years.

The results are as follows:

Freida (Forrest Flame/Nieuwmoeds Patrick) scored 7.8.  We knew going into the inspections Freida was at a disadvantage with having been weaned early and her Dam, Maud not being able to attend the inspections along side Freida.  A pretty good score none the less, but her day will come where we will see her shine.

Wicked Crème Delight (Wicked Courtjester/Merrie Moscan) scored 8.0 Premium Award. This filly is out of Jacodi’s Bo’s Bonnie and was purchased prior to the inspections by Dianna Orona from Kansas.  If there had been a cuteness award, this filly’s score would have been off the chart!  Congratulations Dianna.

Waye Special (Wicked Courtjester/Sandro) scored 8.1 Premium Award.  Waye is out of Special Occasion and is the fourth in the line of this very successful combination.

Forrest’s Wicked CourteZan (Forrest Fame/Wicked Courtjester) scored 8.3 Premium Award.  CourteZan is out of Wicked Z and we are extremely pleased with this filly being that it is one of the few times we have been able to cross with our own stallions.  CourteZan scored an impression 8.5 for movement and was purchased by Grace Vance from S. Carolina prior to the inspections.  Congratulations Grace.

Wrocketeer (Wicked Courtjester/Reno) scored 8.5 Premium Award and High Scoring Champion Award.  Wrocketeer is the first foal out of Rockette and surprised us all.  He scored 8.5’s all across the board for conformation, movement and overall impression and the Inspector love him, stressing that he should be kept a colt and that he wanted to see him back in three years for the stallion approval.

At the same inspections, breeder and dear friend Phyllis Hamilton presented her Forrest Flame filly, Firebird.   This filly is out of a stunning Wicked Courtjester mare named Watermark.   Firebird scored 8.4 Premium Award and came home with Reserve Champion.  The Inspector’s comments were that he couldn’t fault her conformation in anyway.  Congratulations to Phyllis and what an incredible achievement for her first foal.

Firebird is for sale and will be posted on our For Sale by Breeders page shortly.  Watermark is back in foal to Forrest Flame for 2008.

GO NEW FORESTS!

We would like to congratulate the outstanding success of two New Forest ponies at the 2007 Pony Finals!

Magic BB (Igor), an imported Dutch New Forest gelding ridden by Elizabeth Boone, was the 2007 Adequan/USEF National Pony Jumper Individual Champion.

Just a side note:  Patroleander is by Oleander who just happens to be the same the sire of our very own Wicked Courtjester.

Winslette scores 107 points and makes it into the Premium Mare Book.

FORREST FLAME AND JILL HARDT QUALIFY FOR REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN BOTH FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL DRESSAGE

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jill for all her hard work and dedication in the training, showing and management of Forrest. As many of you know Forrest stayed in Florida during the breeding season and Jill very kindly took care of shuttling him back and forth from the collection facility, kept his training sessions going and even was able to get him out to a couple of clinics with Tom Noone and Ann Gribbons. We recognize how fortunate we are to have Jill as our trainer and more importantly as a dear friend and
we wish them all the luck in the world for the up coming Fall/Winter show season.

August 26th & 27th in Tampa, Florida

Jill and Forrest competed in both First and Second Level in dressage with the following results:

Second Level, Test 4 - 68% - 1st place
First Level, Test 4 - 74% - 3rd place
Second Level, Test 3 - 70% - 1st place

Having previous well qualified in Second Level for Regionals, they gained the one First Level
qualifying score required and will now be showing in Third Level in the Fall/ Winter 2006/07.

RESULTS FROM ISR/OLDENBURG REGISTRY BREED INSPECTIONS AUG.26TH 2007

Firstly let me say this was an outstanding group of foals presented, probably the best I've seen under one roof, with an unusual amount of Premium Awards given (and rightly so-in my opinion).

Loved that there were foals by great sires, including Ideal, Ruffian, Coconut Grove, Nobel Champion, Goodtimes, Scimitar, Innkeeper,Bugatti, Royal Appearance, Royal Prince, Contucci, Riverman, Sempatico, Rampal, Parabol, Cordini, Corlando, Blue Blood, Caruso and of course Wicked Courtjester and Forrest Flame I apologize if I missed some.

The most thrilling news is that our filly, Fedora, sired by Forrest Flame scored the highest of all the foals, colts and fillies.

Fedora was given a score of 8.6, 8.5 & 8.5 , was awarded Premium and High Scoring FoalChampion Ribbon. We knew she was hitting the inspections at a good stage of development, but truthfully, having only seen her run and play in the pasture, had no idea she could move the way she did.

We also presented our new mare Rockette for approval. She was given a terrific score of 103 points and entered into the Main Mare book.

Wasabi showed well considering he was standing considerably higher behind and had just entered into the awkward stage. His score was a respectable 7.8.

ISR/Oldenburg Breed Inspections at Hilltop Farm - 7/21/07

On behalf of clients, we presented two mares for inspection and approval...

Paragon a Swedish Warmblood mare owned by Christine Louden of NJ was approved in the Main Mare Book with a score of 99 points. Paragon is in foal to Hilltop Farm's Contucci for a 2007 foal.

Home bred Wicked Z, 4 yr old sport Pony mare owned by Barb Young of CO was approved in the Main Mare Book of the Sport Pony Division with a fantastic score of 103 points. "Z" is in foal to Forrest Flame for 2007 foal.

We also presented our own Forrest Gund, a Forrest Flame yearling filly for identification and branding purposes.
